The big no-no that is painting on walls is pretty much a universal rule in family households. In the blink of an eye, we can fast forward from encouraging our child’s inner-artist to tearfully scrubbing our freshly painted dining room walls.

Leigh Watson of Watson Design believes in giving children a fantastic and imaginative room of their own through the beauty of her hand painted murals. From fairies and flowers to dinosaurs and dump trucks, her designs are a result of client collaboration to reflect each child’s interest. If simple is more your style, work with Leigh to create your own subtle pattern that is personal to you.

A dreamy new room should save you and your child both a clean-up and a time-out.

Ps

Keeping our kiddos occupied during the summer can be a challenge. The Austin Children’s Museum offers a variety of full day and half day summer camps that expose kids to everything from star gazing to sea exploration. Registration is open now for museum members and will open to non-members on February 12.
