We want to thank you, Bear and Blanket, for years of long naps and cozy nights. Our kids can’t close their eyes without you in hand, but it’s time to face the truth: you have officially become a threadbare shadow of your former plush self. We know you traded your youthfulness in for our kids’ unconditional love, and now it’s time for us to return the favor.

We’re checking you into the Ace Teddy Bear Hospital, operating throughout the month of July at all Ace Custom Tailor locations. Benefiting the Austin Children’s Shelter, the Ace staff is mending and patching loveys and other loved-on friends for a suggested donation of $10.

Thank you for every peaceful road trip and stormy night. Now let’s sew that eye back on.

The Beary Stylish Auction will kick-off on July 24th at the Belmont. Teddy bears designed by local celebs, such as Lyle Lovett, Bob Schneider and Dennis Quaid, will be auctioned off on eBay to further benefit the Austin Children’s Shelter.
